Remote / VPS qua SSH

Chạy Herdr server trên VPS nhưng điều khiển từ máy Ubuntu local, hoặc dùng Herdr hoàn toàn trong SSH session.

1. Chuẩn bị SSH

Trước khi dùng Herdr remote, SSH bình thường phải hoạt động.

ssh workbox

# ~/.ssh/config
Host workbox
    HostName server.example.com
    User ubuntu
    Port 22

3. Remote attach

herdr --remote workbox
herdr --remote ssh://you@server:2222

Remote server sở hữu process; local Herdr vẽ UI. Đây là lựa chọn tốt khi bạn muốn trải nghiệm remote giống local.

4. Remote named session

herdr --remote workbox --session agents

5. Lab VPS

1. Kiểm tra ssh workbox.
2. Thoát SSH.
3. Chạy herdr --remote workbox.
4. Trên remote workspace, start một process watch date.
5. Detach local client rồi attach lại và xác nhận process remote vẫn chạy.
